I really like these tires but had some quality issues with them. Roundness or belt alignment issues spoiled my fun. One set was replaced for free but the replacements, while better, were not perfect. They were OE on my A6 and I liked them enough to buy more. That's when the trouble started. Perhaps that's why they came up with a newer version? Hope those are more consistent. Note: My car was not an Avant, but it was a 3.2. No option for that here.
